I was pretty sick for a week. I am better now. I think, however, that I might have died temporarily. I don't remember much.
I will try to be good now.

Things I Learned Today:

1. I've caught the yucky-ness that's going around: body aches, head aches, chills, fever, raw throat and cough.

2. I have successfully altered another recipe for culinary yummy-ness. First recipe was homemade veggie burgers with a chickpea base. Today's recipe was Pan-Fried Chickpea salad.

3. We still have a plethora of leftover chickpeas from Alex's Wot last week.

4. I've been chosen to blog about my wedding planning experiences for The Pink Book Blog. So far I'm the only bride they have in the Lexington KY area. You can go take a peek here

6. My 50+ year old tattoo artist is sad that I'm getting married because he has a crush on me. He's happily married with kids too. It's adorable!

Things I Learned Today:

1. Walmart-brand marinara + 3 cloves of garlic minced finely and sauteed in 1 Tbs butter + smattering of fresh ground herbs + drizzle of extra virgin olive oil = Me as impromptu sauce-master

2. Things usually sound cooler when you add the word "apparatus" to the end of a noun.

3. The Club/Dance genre station on Pandora kicks an infinite number of asses.

4. Mikhail also kicks an infinite number of asses :D

1. I have combination/oily skin.

Things I Learned 2/20 thru 2/22

1. Tom is not as tall as I remembered him being.

2. I look like I've lost weight as opposed to gaining it.

3. Tav is hilarious when imbibing!

6. The KY Bridal Fair was a bit underwhelming. Still got phat lewt though.

7. I have gained some weight, seeing as how THE dress is now a snug fit where it was a bit loose around the bust.

9. The writers that worked on the presenters' scripts at The Academy Awards this year were freakin' hilarious.

10. Nathan Fillion is starring in a new show on ABC. I believe it is called "Castle". *Squee!*

Things I Learned Today:

1. The church I found is perfect for the wedding!

2. 99% of the reception halls in Lexington are over-priced, thieving bastards.

3. Project C.M.T.F.U. is finally in full swing.

4. I can stay in a bubble bath for over an hour and a half and still not get tired of it. I had to refill it twice.

5. My friend's soccer team is going to be playing outdoors soon. I will be joining.

6. Brown eyeliner doesn't make me look dead/goth like black eyeliner. It actually makes my eyes stand out really nicely.

7. I can eat over half of a supreme deep dish pizza with out blinking an eye.

Things I Learned Today:

1. Though delicious, Taco Bell doesn't make me any less sick.

2. Oscar fish will bite your finger off if you put it in their fish tank.

3. As much as I don't want to, I'm going to have to make a seating chart for the reception *sighs*

4. Wil Wheaton has a Twitter account. Yes, I'm following it. Yes, I am lame.

Brief Summary of Fragment:

Two very athletic friends of mine (T and J)were hand-over-handing it on a long stretched out cable. The wire was at least 5 stories high and was looming over a man-made water hazard/lake in the middle of an industrial complex. T was chasing after J. J had decided he didn't care if he lived or died. T was trying to rescue J. T had finally convinced J life was worth living and they were making their way back to safety. T lost his grip and fell. I'm standing on the side of the lake in my dream, but I switch to T's POV at this point. He frantically tries to grab various ledges on his way down. He almost succeeds once, but it proves futile. POV continues until T hits his head on a final ledge and drops into the water. POV back to my dream body. I run out into the water and hold T's floating body, crying.

Woke up sobbing.

1. A lot of people don't have the testicular fortitude to tell you they don't like you. They would rather take the passive aggressive route of playing nice to your face.

3. Apparently, I look a lot like Claire Danes from her "My So-Called Life" days.

I took a nap today. Most of it is following me around in some sort of science fiction/mathematical equation-filled/adventure game (like I was IN the computer) where I kept morphing into different animal forms. I distinctly remember being a cat, a rat and a purple otter.
The part that I remember most vividly (especially since it was the end of the dream) was this:

I had been in a convenience store looking a crappy Valentine's Day gifts. A former female acquaintance was with me, as well as a Russian guy I know. I was listening to my cd player via headphones, and they were making small chatter that I really didn't pay attention to. I mentioned I was going to be in another movie (I thought the game I was in was a movie). The Russian kissed me, and I violently pushed him away. The female told me I was being silly; that it was only a kiss and that Will wouldn't mind.
I was so disgusted that I hopped into my car and took off. "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was playing on my Walkman. My car was in second gear and I was driving on one of the on ramps to New Circle. I went to put my car in third gear, but it turns out that, in dream world, the clutch and the gas pedal had switched places. I pressed my foot down hard on the clutch and the engine floored and busted. My car slowly drifted onto the snow-covered median. I got out, stumbling in a daze. I was in shock. I popped the hood of my car to check the engine and found that it was on fire. I collapsed onto my right side, which I thought was weird. I looked down and saw it was because something had shot through the car while I was driving it. One of the rods in the engine came through the block and had cut my leg off at the knee.
I woke up screaming.

Things I have learned today:

1. Half a log of raw cookie dough, one "family-size" bag of Nacho Doritos, spinach dip, margaritas and strawberry daiquiris are delicious. They also lead to a massive tummy-ache....it was totally worth it!
2. The Sandlot, which was so integral to my life in my childhood, remains so even today.
3. The best s/o's bring you Subway at work when you've forgotten to eat and you're stuck there until close. It's even better when you were actually only expecting Dollar Value Menu from McDonald's.
4. Crys secretly loves Katy Perry as much as I do... Stephen does not. Sucks to be him in the car with me on a trip to Richmond. God Bless American Radio.
5. I can buy (pretty) wedding invitations at Wal-mart for roughly $60... as opposed to ordering them from elsewhere (even the really cheap DIY's) for at least twice to three times as much.
6. I like to use "..." to indicate where in the story I would pause if I were narrating it aloud. I'm sorry(ish).
